Terms of sale

These terms govern the purchase of Glitter, the premium currency of UDaPimp. Submitting a voucher means accepting them. Only the French version of this document is legally binding.

1. Seller

Glitter is sold by À COMPLÉTER, publisher of UDaPimp. Full contact details, legal status and registration number are set out in the legal notice.

These terms are addressed to consumers. They supplement the terms of use, which remain applicable; where they conflict on a point of sale, these terms prevail.

2. What you are buying

Glitter is an in-game currency, supplied as digital content and credited to your account. The rate is fixed: 1 US dollar = 100 Glitter.

Glitter can only be exchanged for purely cosmetic items: card skins, which change a girl’s artwork without altering any of her statistics, and avatar customisation pieces. The latter come in two kinds: shortcuts to pieces that also remain obtainable through progression alone, and a few pieces exclusive to the shop, which progression does not unlock. The shop states which of the two each piece is.

No game mechanic is for sale. Glitter grants no power advantage, no random draw, no game ticket and no access to sensual content. Sensual content is obtained through progression alone; a skin changes its style, never the right to access it.

Glitter has no monetary value. It cannot be converted into money, sold, or transferred between accounts, and grants no property right.

3. Prices and packs

Prices are shown in US dollars, all taxes included, on the top-up screen, before any commitment. The prices displayed at the time the voucher is submitted are the ones that apply.

The seller may change prices at any time. A change does not affect vouchers already submitted and gives rise to no retroactive adjustment, in either direction.

4. Payment by prepaid voucher

No banking details are requested, collected or processed by the service. Payment is made using a prepaid voucher purchased from an independent third-party reseller.

  • You buy a prepaid voucher for the chosen amount from the reseller.
  • You enter the voucher code on the top-up screen.
  • The code is encrypted as soon as it is entered and is read only once, by an administrator, in order to be redeemed.
  • Once redemption is confirmed, the Glitter is credited and you receive an email.

Validation is manual. The seller undertakes to process each voucher within 24 working hours of submission.

A voucher whose code turns out to be invalid, already used, or worth less than stated is refused or credited at its actual value, with a reason sent by email. A refused voucher does not consume your monthly cap. The seller is not liable for a voucher bought from an unauthorised reseller.

A voucher submitted and never settled expires after fourteen days; its code is then erased and your monthly cap is restored. You may cancel a voucher yourself as long as it has not been processed.

5. Delivery and right of withdrawal

Supplying Glitter is a contract for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. Delivery takes place when the account is credited, upon validation of the voucher.

You are in principle entitled to a fourteen-day right of withdrawal. By ticking the dedicated box when submitting your voucher, you expressly request immediate performance of the contract and expressly waive that right, in accordance with Article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code. Your consent is timestamped and retained.

As a result, credited Glitter is not refundable. This waiver does not deprive the consumer of the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content: non-conforming content will be corrected, or its price refunded.

6. Monthly spending cap

A monthly spending cap applies to every account, by default 50 dollars per calendar month. It is checked when a voucher is submitted, and the remaining amount is shown at all times on the top-up screen.

You may lower your cap at any time from your account, with immediate effect. You cannot raise it yourself: it is a self-limitation tool and would be meaningless if it could be reversed instantly. Raising it goes through support and takes effect the following month.

7. Balance lifetime and service closure

Credited Glitter remains available for as long as the account exists and the service is running. It does not expire on its own.

If the service closes permanently, the seller undertakes to inform players at least thirty days in advance, to stop all Glitter sales immediately, and to allow that period for remaining balances to be spent. An online service is by nature ephemeral: this is stated here because it is part of what you are buying.

Deleting your account, whether at your request or as a sanction for breaching the terms of use, results in the loss of unspent Glitter, without refund.

8. Complaints and mediation

Any complaint about a top-up should be sent by email to À COMPLÉTER, stating the date of submission and the amount. Keep your proof of purchase from the reseller: it is what allows a dispute over a refused voucher to be investigated.

You may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator with a view to resolving a dispute amicably, after first attempting to resolve it directly with the seller. The competent mediator’s details are given in the legal notice. The European online dispute resolution platform is also available.

These terms are governed by French law.
